I made these crafts to get ready for our upcoming Disney World trip!  I am going to use the shoe organizer to sort our toiletries in our hotel room.  The kids are too short to reach the countertops; their stuff will go in the bottom pockets and our stuff will go in the higher ones!  The organizer needed a personalization, so I broke out the Cricut!

I also made these mousekeeping tip envelopes with my Cricut!

I finished my 8 year old daughter's room.  I got ideas for her room design off the internet and from magazines that I have saved for a long time.  The backside of the bedspread has stripes so I matched the colors and painted the stripes on the wall.

The earring tree is a DIY project.  I bought a plain wood frame from Hobby Lobby and painted it one of the colors used in the stripes.  I then attached screen material to the back of the frame and glued a coordinating ribbon around the edge.  The easel is also from Hobby Lobby.

I wanted a cool art project for her room.  I took pictures of some of her favorite stuffed animals.  In Photoshop Elements, I changed the picture to reverse black and white and then added highlights of the original color.  I softened the edges of the pictures and then had them printed in 5x7s.  The frames and mats are from Ikea.

Her stuffed animals needed a place to rest!  The shelves and brackets are from Ikea.

This is the "beauty" corner.  The mirror is from Hobby Lobby.  The jewelry box/picture frame is from Kohls.

The desk is from Target.  The chair is from Shopko.  I sanded it down and spray painted with a white lustre spray paint.

The chandelier is from Ikea.  Bedding is from Walmart. The bling above the bed is from Kohls.  Sheer draperies are from Shopko.
